Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. maida 2 cup
  2. baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  3. baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  5. 1 cup milk (as required)
  6. 4 tablespoon butter
  7. 1/2 cup cashew nuts
  8. 1/2 cup powered sugar
  9. 1/2 cup strawberry
  10. few choco chips
  11. 2 cashew nuts for garnishing
  12. 3/4 cup white chocolate
  13. 1 stick cinnamon secret ingredient

Instructions

  1. seive maida, baking powder and baking soda in bowl.
  2. Mix butter, milk in another bowl. Add vanilla essence and blend again.
  3. Add maida mixture, milk and blend again to mix.
  4. Grease container with butter.
  5. Pour cake mixture in container and cook it in pressure cooker for 30-35 minutes without whistle.
  6. After 30-35 minutes, pass toothpick if it comes out clean then cake is ready.
  7. Cool it at room temperature.
  8. For decorations, cut cake from top to make it even.
  9. Cut 2 roundels with the help of cutter or katori.
  10. Roast cahewnuts for about 1 minute and add little milk and then make a smooth paste.
  11. Mix half of powered sugar in cashew nut paste and keep aside.
  12. Chop strawberries, cinnamon stick and add rest of sugar in pan.
  13. Add strawberries and let them cook.
  14. Keep on stiring and cook till 10 minutes until they get tender.
  15. Then blend them in smooth paste.
  16. Again pour strawberry mixture in pan.
  17. Cook it till it starts to get thicken.
  18. Turn off flame. Let it cool at room temperature.
  19. Cut long strip of white chocolate and place it in middle of both cakes.
  20. On half of cake,spread cashewnut paste evenly.
  21. On other half, spread strawberry thick paste.
  22. Keep it in fridge for about 5-10 minutes so it gets set.
  23. Place two choco chips on each of the cake as eyes of Santa.
  24. Dip one cashew nut in strawberry paste and place it on cake as smile.
  25. Grate some of white chocolate and stick at the bottom of cake as beard of Santa.
  26. Santa Smiling Cakes is ready
