ABOUT Puffed rice laddoo RECIPE

Kids favourite snack, made with puffed rice. A healthy and easy snack for the evening hunger pangs.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Puffed rice: 60 grams
  2. Jaggery powder: 1cup
  3. Cardamom powder:1 spoon
  4. Water :4-5 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. First dry fry puffed rice till turns crispy.
  2. Once it is done transfer to a bowl.
  3. Now in flat vessel put jaggery powder and water and keep stirring.
  4. Once jaggery melts , sieve it and remove impurities.
  5. Once it is done pour clean jaggery mix in to a pan and keep stirring.
  6. Add cardamom powder at this stage.
  7. Add couple of drops in water . And it should not dissolve in water.
  8. You should be able to take the drop and make small ball using fingers.
  9. This is the right consistency.
  10. Now pour this syrup into puffed rice.
  11. Make balls when it is hot.
  12. You can store this balls in air tight container.
