ABOUT Caramel bread pudding RECIPE

A bread pudding with a differance ,yes Caramel is the secret ingredient here in this bread pudding by me !A gud set cake like bread pudding layered with Caramel inside, a true treat.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 bread slices
  2. 2 Eggs
  3. 4 tblspn white fine sugar
  4. 2 tblspoon brown sugar
  5. 2-3 tblspn honey
  6. 1 cup milk
  7. 1tbspn butter
  8. 1 tblspn coarsely chopped nuts
  9. Few drops vanilla essence
  10. Few raisins

Instructions

  1. Keep all ingredients handy
  2. Break the bread into small bits
  3. Now beat two eggs with beater
  4. Add the 4-5 drops Vanilla essence
  5. Add white sugar in eggs ,whisk well
  6. Line a clean broad base heavy bottom vessel or cake tin as per choice with the 1tblspn butter
  7. Now mix the bits of bread well in the egg mixture,add the coarse chopped nuts
  8. Mix very well and pour in the greased vessel and keep on a hot tava on gas flame which is medium all through ,cover cook 15 minutes
  9. After 7-8 minutes poke with a tooth pick to see firmness and check out how sticky the mix is
  10. Now heat a small pan and in it melt the brown sugar
  11. As the pudding is baked now ,loosen sides with. A knife
  12. Remove on a plate and make a cross
  13. Pour in the heated brown sugar caramelizing the bread pudding
  14. Now just garnish with more nuts and also drizzle honey allover
  15. Your caramel pudding will look tasty and yummy sure with a cross cut look and drizzle of honey
