Baked Fish

Ingredients to make Baked Fish

  • Fish (medium sized) 200 gms
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • olive oil 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • sugar 1 tsp
  • Red wine vinegar 1 tsp
  • garlic crushed 3 cloves
  • Basil leaves 4
  • Green chili 1
  • mustard paste or (ready made mustard sauce) 1 tsp
  • red chilli pwd 1/2 tsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • pepper 1/2 tsp

How to make Baked Fish

  1. Marinate the fish with some salt and lemon juice for 15 minutes.
  2. After 15 minutes discard the first marinade and marinate with oregano, mustard, salt pepper, vinegar, garlic and chillies.
  3. Keep aside for 2 hours at least. In the baking pan take the marinated fish pieces and drizzle 1 tsp oil on it.
  4. Preheat oven at 180 degree centigrade and bake it for 20 minutes, increase temperature to 200 degree centigrade and bake for 30 minutes till soft and brown.
