ABOUT Mixed Herbs Burger Buns RECIPE

This is home made wheat flour burger buns flavoured with mixed herbs.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Wheat flour 300 gm
  2. Maida 100 gm
  3. Dry yeast 1 tsp
  4. Sugar 1tsp
  5. Ghee 1 tbs
  6. Oil 1 tbs
  7. Salt 2 tsp
  8. Milk 1/2 cup
  9. Water 1/2 cup
  10. Milk powder 2 tbs
  11. Butter 1 tbs
  12. Mixed herbs 2 tsp
  13. Chilli flex 1 tsp
  14. Sesame seeds 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Take flours make a small well in the middle add sugar and yeast in it.
  2. Mix water and milk lukewarm it. Few on sugar and yeast mixture to activate the yeast.
  3. Cover the plate for 5 minutes.
  4. After 5 minutes yeast is ready.
  5. Add milk powder.
  6. Mix the yeast mixture and the milk powder well in the flour.
  7. Knead the dough with lukewarm milk and water if required take more lukewarm water. Add salt and ghee and knead the dough for 5 minutes.
  8. Make the dough soft ball.
  9. Put the dough in greased pan cover with cling film. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  10. After 30 minutes the dough will rise into double in size.
  11. Take out the dough punch it and remove the air.
  12. Sprinkle the half of mixed herbs, chilli flex on the dough. Mix it and knead for 3 minutes.
  13. Divide the dough in 6 parts 100 gm each. Put them on greased baking tray.
  14. Cover the tray with cloth and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  15. Pre heat oven at 200*c for 10 minutes
  16. Brush the dough buns with milk and butter.
  17. Bake the buns at 200*c for 20 minutes in oven.
  18. Tasty mixed herbs buns are ready to serve. Again greased with butter after removing it from oven.
