Tomato Garlic Soup

Ingredients to make Tomato Garlic Soup

  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 4 cloves of Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Rice

How to make Tomato Garlic Soup

  1. Wash and cut a cross on the tomatoes. Boil them and peel off their skin. Chop them up. Keep aside.
  2. In a vessel, boil together chopped tomatoes, garlic cloves and rice for 10 minutes. Strain the pulp. Do not discard the water. Set aside to cool and then grind into a very fine paste.
  3. Add the water to the paste and pass it through a strainer. Add 1/2 cup of more water, season with salt and pepper and add sugar according to the tartness of the tomatoes.
  4. Boil again and serve it hot with some butter on top.
My Tip: You can even add corn flour instead of rice to thicken the soup.
