Wreath Bread with Mushroom Dip

Ingredients to make Wreath Bread with Mushroom Dip

  • For the dough:
  • 1/2 Cup warm water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast (Bluebird)
  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup freshly chopped Parsley leaves
  • Salt – According to taste
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • For dip
  • Mushrooms – 1 pack
  • Sweet corn – 1/2 cup
  • Spinach – 1 cup shredded
  • Onions – chopped 1 cup
  • All purpose flour ( Maida ) – 1 tbsp
  • Milk – 4 cups
  • Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Mozzarella cheese – 1 cup
  • Pepper, Italian seasonings and Salt – as per taste

How to make Wreath Bread with Mushroom Dip

  1. Dissolve sugar in warm water and add yeast. Mix lightly and let it proof for 20 minutes.
  2. Sieve the flours and salt together. Add freshly chopped parsley leaves. Add 1 tbsp olive oil. Knead it well using yeast water and milk. Keep aside covered in a wet cloth for 1 hour.
  3. Punch out the air and knead the dough. Roll and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 150 degree centigrade till the bread rises and turns golden brown in colour.
  4. For mushroom dip: Boil the mushrooms and grind it well along with some milk. Take a pan and heat some butter in it. Fry the onions, mushrooms and corn.
  5. Add in the flour and fry it for 1 minute more. Now add the mushroom milk mixture and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Add spinach into it and let it simmer.
  6. Adjust the spices and cheese. The mushroom dip is ready.
