ABOUT Red Velvet Swiss Roll RECIPE

Red velvet swiss Roll is a perfect Christmas party recipe, which is yummy and delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 4 Egg whites
  2. 4 egg yolks
  3. 1/4 teaspoon Cream of tartar / lemon juice / Vinegar
  4. 100 grams powdered sugar
  5. 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  6. 100 grams of All purpose flour
  7. 1/4 cup melted butter
  8. Few drops edible Super Red American gel colour
  9. 150 grams of fresh cream
  10. Some Silver sugar balls

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites well.
  2. After 2 minutes add cream of tartar, lemon juice or vinegar. Add sugar little by little. Add vanilla essence.
  3. Beat until stiff peaks form and the mixture is smooth and shiny. Add the egg yolks. Mix well and fold and cut with a spatula.
  4. Add sifted flour. Mix well, using the fold and cut method. Add melted butter. Mix until you get a lump-free batter.
  5. Add a few drops of red gel colour. Mix well.
  6. Pour the cake batter into a baking tray lined with butter paper/parchment paper. Bake for 6-7 minutes at 190 degree Celsius in a preheated oven.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  8. Flip the cake and brush it with Tropicana red grape juice.
  9. Prepare fresh cream and apply onto the cake. Slowly roll the cake.
  10. Apply some fresh cream on top of the roll. Decorate with the red-coloured cream. Sprinkle the silver sugar balls.
  11. Refrigerate for atleast 30 minutes. Cut and serve.
