Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup basmati rice or Raw rice boiled approx 4 cups
  2. For Curry leaves powder
  3. Channa dal 2 tbsp
  4. Urad dal 2 tbsp
  5. coriander seeds 2 tbsp
  6. Pepper 1 tbsp
  7. Jeera 1 tsp
  8. Methi 1/2 tsp
  9. Hing 1/2 tsp
  10. Salt 1 tsp
  11. For Seasoning
  12. 3 tbsp sesame oil
  13. Mustard 1 tsp
  14. Channa dal 1 tsp
  15. Urad dal 1 tsp
  16. Hing
  17. Red Chillies 2
  18. Cashews
  19. Ground nut

Instructions

  1. RINSE AND DRY 2 CUPS OF CURRY LEAVES
  2. DRY ROAST CURRY LEAVES TILL CURRY LEAVES TURNS CRISPY
  3. COOL THE ROASTED LEAVES. SET ASIDE
  4. DRY ROAST 2 TBSP CHANNA AND URAD DAL
  5. DRY ROAST 2 TBSP CORIANDER SEEDS
  6. DRY ROAST 1 TBPS PEPPER, 1 TSP JEERA AND 0.5 TSP METHI
  7. DRY ROAST TILL THE DAL COLOR CHANGES TO GOLDEN BROWN
  8. DRY ROAST 5 RED CHILLIES
  9. ADD ROASTED MIXTURE, 1 TSP SALT AND 0.5 TSP HING TO ROASTED CURRY LEAVES. COMPLETELY COOL THE MIXTURE
  10. ADD THE MIXTURE TO BLENDER AND GRIND TO FINE POWDER
  11. HEAT A KADAI. ADD 3 TBSP SESAME OIL. ADD MUSTARD. WHEN IT CRACKS ADD 1 TSP CHANNA AND URAD DAL. ADD 2 RED CHILLIES
  12. ADD CURRY LEAVES, HING, CASHEW AND GROUNDNUT
  13. ADD GROUNDED POWDER. MIX WELL
  14. ADD 4 CUPS OF RICE. MIX WELL
