Lemon Ajwaini Arbee

Ingredients to make Lemon Ajwaini Arbee

  • 500gms arbee
  • 1tea spoon of ajwain
  • Pinch of heeng powder
  • 1teaspoon of coriander powder (dhaniya)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil
  • A pinch of amchoor(mango powder)

How to make Lemon Ajwaini Arbee

  1. Boil the Arbee in the pressure cooker, wait for five whistles. After this switch off the gas and keep it aside and open the cooker after 10 mins.
  2. Now peel the Arbee and cut into 1inch cubes.
  3. Heat some oil in a Karahi or a deep pan, when the oil is heated, add heeng and dhania powder immediately (make sure to keep on medium heat, after oil is heated). Keep on stirring and add Arbee pieces. Keep on stirring, then add salt and pepper. Mix it thoroughly and add ajwain and amchoor.
  4. Stir it for a little while and remove from the stove
My Tip: add some lemon juice while serving
