  • big Red chilies 4
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Cashew nuts 1 handful (for the cashew cheese)
  • Chili flakes 1 teaspoon (for the cashew cheese)
  • chopped Parsley 1 tablespoon (for the cashew cheese)
  • Knob of Ginger chopped (for the cashew cheese)
  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons (for the cashew cheese)
  • black Peppercorns 8
  • Salt to taste

How to make Cashew cheese poppers

  1. Start by preheating oven at 200C. Make cashew cheese, by blending all ingredients listed with little amount of water until it reaches creamy consistency.
  2. Add in halved red chilies. Baste oil to a baking tray or apply oil individually to the peppers.
  3. Leave this to bake in oven for 10-15 minutes or until cashew cheese is slightly brown. Relish!
