Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled Chick peas 1 cup
  2. Cashew nuts 1/4 cup
  3. Raisins 1/8cup
  4. Melon seeds 1/8 cup
  5. Khoya 1 tbsp
  6. Ginger1" piece
  7. Tomato 1
  8. Green chillies 4
  9. Cumin seeds 1tsp
  10. Cloves 4
  11. Cinnamon stick 1 small
  12. Ghee. 2tbsp
  13. Kashmiri Mitch 1 tsp
  14. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  15. Coriander powder 1tsp
  16. Garam masala 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1TSP OF GHEE AND ROAST 1TBSP OF KHOYA TILL GOLDEN BROWN AND KEEP ASIDE
  2. TAKE 1/4 CUP OF CASHEW NUT, 1/8 CUP OF RAISINS AND 1/8 CUP OF MELON SEEDS ALL SOAKED IN WARM WATER FOR ABOUT HALF AN HOUR AND MAKE A FINE PASTE
  3. TAKE 2TBSP OF GHEE IN A WOK ADD 1/4 TSP CUMIN SEEDS,2-3 CLOVES AND CINNAMON
  4. ADD 1"OF GRATED GINGER 1/4 TSP OF TURMERIC POWDER ,1 TSP OF KASHMIRI MIRCH
  5. ADD CASHEW PASTE AND SAUTE ON SLOW FOR 5MINUTES
  6. ADD A TOMATO AND 4 GREEN CHILLIES PASTE
  7. COOK TILL ALL WATER EVAPORATES ADD 1 TSP OF CORIANDER POWDER 1/2 TSP OF GARAM MASALA AND KHOYA
  8. COOK THE SPICES FOR A MINUTE AND ADD A CUP OF WATER ADJUST SALT COVER IT WITH A LID AND COOK FOR 8-10MINUTES
  9. ADD A CUP OF CHICKPEAS SOAKED OVERNIGHT AND BOILED TILL SOFT
  10. COVER AND COOK ON SLOW TILL GRAVY THICKENS
