ABOUT Boondi ladoo RECIPE

Usually we use water for making doondi batter but my secret ingredients is milk...it give a cream and rich taste in ladoo's

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gramflaur- 200gm
  2. Milk-1/2cup
  3. Yellow food colour-2 drops(optional)
  4. Oil for fry
  5. Sugar- 1 cup
  6. Water-1/2cup
  7. Cardamom powder- 1/4teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Sieve gramflaur.
  2. Now keep adding milk little by little and make a thin batter but mind it that it should not be so thin and no lump in batter.
  3. Now whisk the better for 5 to 6 minutes till it's get sticky. And keep it for 10 minutes.
  4. Now take sugar and water in a pan and bring it to boil.
  5. When it's start to boiling reduce the flam and cook it for another 5minuts.
  6. Now add cardamom powder and switch off the flam and.
  7. Now heat oil in a wok.
  8. Oil should be well heated.
  9. Now hold the perforated spoon(jhaala) a little above the wok.
  10. Now pour 1 tablespoons of batter on perforated spoon.
  11. Little drops fall into oil.
  12. Now fry the boondi till brown and crispy.
  13. Take them out and put into sugar syrup.
  14. Now rest for 15 minutes.
  15. Now grease your hands with oil and make small size ladoo's
  16. Garnish with crushed pistachios.
