ABOUT Stuffed Mushrooms RECIPE

Stuffed mushrooms is a dish prepared using mushrooms as its primary ingredient. Mushrooms marinated in curd, gramflour, breadcrumb and SPICES and the dish is typically baked or broiled. It can be served hot or at room temperature, and is sometimes served cold. The dish can have a meaty texture, and serves as an starter, side dish or snack.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 400gm large mushrooms (peeled n removed stem)
  2. For marination:-
  3. 3 tablespoons fresh curd
  4. 1 tablespoon gramflour
  5. 1/3 teaspoon salt
  6. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
  7. 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  8. 2 pinch turmeric powder
  9. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  11. 1 teaspoon mango powder
  12. 2 tablespoons + 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  13. For stuffing:-
  14. 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  15. 2 tablespoons finely chopped capsicum
  16. 2 tablespoons chopped removed mushrooms stem
  17. 1 finely chopped green chilli
  18. Salt to taste
  19. 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  20. 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  21. A pinch of turmeric powder
  22. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  23. 1/2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  24. 1/4 cup Grated Cheese
  25. 1 bread slice breadcrumbs
  26. For garnishing:-
  27. 1 Grated cheese cube
  28. 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil saute onion for minute on high flame.
  2. Add capsicum and mushrooms stem n saute for minute on low flame.
  3. Add salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder, saute for minute on low flame.
  4. Add coriander leaves and grated cheese keep mixing and finally add breadcrumbs mix well and switch off the flame. Let it cool down.
  5. Add curd, gramflour, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder coriander powder, mango powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, and cumin powder. Mix all the ingredients well. Marinate mushrooms in it for 10minutes.
  6. Now feel stuffing in mushrooms n keep aside. Heat 2 tablespoons oil on pan, first cook stuffed side on slow gas low flame for 7minutes. Gently flip n cook mushrooms for another 5 to 7minutes.
  7. Flip n cook mushrooms for another 5 to 7minutes. Transfer it in plate n garnish grated cheese n coriander leaves.
  8. Serve as a starter, snack or side dish.
