ABOUT Rum Balls RECIPE

A Christmas delicacy, with a twist and a hidden ingredient.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 4 cups chocolate cake crumbs
  2. 1 cup melted Chocolate
  3. 2 tbs rum
  4. 1/4 cup dry fruits soaked in rum (raisins, cashews, etc)
  5. 50 gms marzipan

Instructions

  1. Make pea sized balls of the marzipan and keep aside.
  2. Mix together the cake crumbs, rum and the rum soaked dry fruits. Make lemon sized balls of the crumb mixture and keep the marzipan in the centre.
  3. Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from the fridge and dip in the melted chocolate. Coat all the sides evenly with the chocolate.
  5. Sprinkle with colourful sprinkles or leave as it is. Chill till the chocolate sets.
