ABOUT METHI MATAR PANEER BHURJI RECIPE

Paneer bhurji is made with crumbled paneer with the addition of onions, tomatoes and spices. Often some vegetables like green peas or capsicums are added for variation. It pairs well with rotis and puris. You can also use this as a stuffing for sandwiches and parathas.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Paneer chena ... 1 cup
  2. Green peas ....... 1/4 cup (boiled)
  3. Methi leaves ..... 1/4 cup
  4. Ginger paste ..... 1 tsp.
  5. Garlic paste ...... 1 tbsp.
  6. Green chillies ... 1-2
  7. Onion ............. 1 big (chopped finely)
  8. Tomato ......... 1 small
  9. Coriander leaves.. to garnish
  10. Turmeric powder .. 1/4 tsp.
  11. Coriander powder ... 1/2 tsp.
  12. Cumin powder ........ 1/2 tsp
  13. Salt ............... to taste
  14. Oil ... 2 tbsps

Instructions

  1. In a pan heat a little oil. Add the ginger garlic paste and methi leaves. Saute and add the chopped tomato, green chillies and onion.
  2. Stir fry and simmer it for a 1-2 minutes till the onion is cooked.
  3. Now stir in the paneer chena and the greenpeas. Add all the dry spices, salt and mix well. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
