Veg Salad with Sesame Seeds

Ingredients to make Veg Salad with Sesame Seeds

  • 1/2 apple, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup Lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Sweet corn
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 3/4 cup capsicum, diced
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar (Can substitute with honey)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper as per taste
  • 1/2 lemon

How to make Veg Salad with Sesame Seeds

  1. Add all the vegetables in a bowl. Add sugar, salt and black pepper. Squeeze lemon on it.
  2. Take a pan and heat olive oil, add sesame seeds in it. Wait for it to crackle (make sure not to burn them). Once the seeds are done, add these to the vegetables and mix it well.
  3. Salad is ready. You can keep it in the fridge for some time, tastes best cold.

My Tip:

You can actually add a lot of other veggies and fruits like carrots, cabbage, pineapple and oranges.
