In south india ragi is very popular. This ragi parantha is very healthy and tasty also.In breakfast person have 1 parantha can easily work till 2 o'clock happily. And ragi is very nutritious also.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2 cup ragi flour
  2. 1/2 cupp water
  3. 1/2 tsp Salt
  4. Butter /ghee/oil for parantha
  5. For stuffing----
  6. 1 cup boiled peas
  7. 1 green chilli
  8. 1 tsp Ginger paste
  9. 5 Curry Leaves
  10. Coriander leaves
  11. 1 tsp oil
  12. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  13. 1 tsp Fennel seeds
  14. salt as per taste
  15. 2 tsp Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat water and add salt and 1 tsp oil
  2. When it boils add ragi flour
  3. Mix it finely in water with spactula
  4. Cover it and keep it 5 min on gas
  5. And take on work place
  6. Little cool down then make dough with palm.
  7. Cover for 10 min.
  8. Grind boil peas,green chilli,curry leaves in mixi coarsly
  9. Heat pan and add oil
  10. Then add mustard seeds and fennel seeds
  11. Then add peas mix and stir it till cooked
  12. Then add salt and lemon juice
  13. Now devide ragi dough in equal parts and make balls
  14. Take a plastic sheet and roll one ball
  15. Cut it with any container lid in round
  16. Make one more like this of same size
  17. Then spread peas filling on one part
  18. Cover with another part and seal it with water from sidings
  19. Prick it with fork also
  20. Now heat tawa and cook it
  21. Add ghee, oil or butter and cook from both side
  22. Our ragi parantha is ready
  23. Serve with curd or pickle
