Ingredients to make Lovebird cookies
- 2 cups
- 1/2 cup Unsalted , at room temperature
- 5 tbsp Vegetable
- 1/2 cup Powdered
- 1/2 tsp Flavouring essence of your choice ( vanilla,strawberry,almond,scotch)
How to make Lovebird cookies
My Tip:Variations: 1. You can add like 1/2 cup of chocolate chips to the dough. 2. You can add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts of your choice 3. Replace 1/3 cup of flour with cocoa powder or almond flour to make chocolate or almond shortbread cookies respectively. 4. Melt semisweet chocolate, and partially dip the basic shortbread cookie in the chocolate and let is set. 5.Decorate the shaped cookies with tinted fondant or modelling chocolate 6. Christmas special variation : Add 1 cup of chopped unsalted pistachios and 1 cup of chopped cranberries or cherries. You will have wonderful cookies with red and green bits!
