ABOUT Lamba gadhiya RECIPE

We gujaratis are fan of these gadhiya...call it lamba gadhiya or pata gadhiya...very common breakfast in gujarat. You find many small small stalls making them on streets and the their aroma just cant let you go away. Best goes with garm garm jalebi, fried freen chilly and raw papaya and carrot ka sambhara. Kadhyawad is famous for this type differnt varities of gadhiyas out of that one of them is this.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Besan 1 cup
  2. Oil 4 table spoons
  3. Ajwain 1 tea spoon
  4. salt as per taste
  5. Hing 1 /4 tea spoon
  6. Kharo papdyo 1 /4 tea spoon
  7. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In one mixi bowl take 4 spoons oil, 1 /2 cup water, salt, kharo papdyo and bled it with electric blender till you get white clour froth.
  2. Now in ona bowl take besan and ajwin and with help was that white forth make semi soft dogh. Rest for 10 mins
  3. Now heat the oil.
  4. Take wooden chopping bord, take one small piece of dogh and place on wooden bord now with help of your plam move towrds upward direction and now with help of sharp knife remove gaddhiya and deep fry it
  5. Fry till done and serve it with jalebi, fried marcha,carrot and raw papaya nu sambharu and of course tea.
