ABOUT Kadak masala bhakri RECIPE

Bhakri is thick roti made with mota atta. This is very common breakfast in gujarat. There are two to three types of bhakri that you will find people making biscuit bhakri,jeera bhakri and masala bhakri. It can be served with tea, curd or sabji/ sev tamatar ki sabji is best side for bhakri. Bhakri is loaded with ghee or white butter and gives your energy for whole day.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat mota atta 1 cup
  2. Wheat thin atta 2 table spoon
  3. Jeera 1 tea spoon
  4. Haldi 1 tea spoon
  5. Mirchi powder 1 tea spoon
  6. Oil 2 to 4 table spoons
  7. Salt as per taste
  8. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Take both the flour/atta in mixing bowl, add in all masalas ,oil and make semi hard dough n leav it for 5 mins.
  2. Now roll out thick roties and roast it in very slow flam on mud ka tawa.
  3. Once done load it with ghee n serve with tea or dhai or sev tomatar ki sabji.
  4. Ghee will get quicky absorbed as it has mota atta in it.
