Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup soaked moong dal
  2. 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  3. 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
  4. 1/4 cup chopped onion
  5. 1/4 cup chopped beetroot
  6. Finely chopped coriander
  7. Salt
  8. Black pepper powder
  9. 2tsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a mixer , blend the moong dal into a fine paste without adding water.
  2. Now in a nonstick pan add very little butter and pour a ladle full of moong dal paste .
  3. Spread it gently over the pan with the help of ladle's back.
  4. Spread a handful of all the veggies one by one over it.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper as per taste.
  6. Cover it with a lid and cook on slow flame for around 5 minutes.
  7. Flip it over and cook the other side, pressing it gently
  8. Once done, put it on a serving plate and serve with chutney and mayonnaise
