Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Vermicelli - 250 g
  2. Water : 400 ml
  3. Oil : 2 tsp
  4. Mustard seeds : ½ tsp
  5. Cumin seeds : ½ tsp
  6. Green chillies : 2
  7. Onion: 1
  8. Carrot : ½
  9. Green peas : 50 g
  10. Curry leaves
  11. Turmeric powder : ½ tsp
  12. Salt
  13. Lemon : ½

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan  and roast the vermicelli for 1 min and transfer to a plate and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and cumin seeds. Let them crackle for a minute and add the green chillies and curry leaves for 30 secs
  3. Add the onion,carrot, green peas ( your own veg ) and cook for 1 min.
  4. Add turmeric powder ( and your own masala ) and salt and saute for 1 min. Add water and boil it
  5. Add the roasted vermicelli mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 3 - 5 minutes over medium flame or until the vermicelli is cooked and the water is dried up.
  6. Add lemon juice after 5 mins
