ABOUT AAM RAS WITH POORIS RECIPE

This is a lovely combo and relished by everyone during the mango season.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Mangoes ... 1 (depending on the variety you are using, if they are small you need 2-3)
  2. Sugar ...... add if needed (I have not added)
  3. Milk ..... 2-3 tbsps (optional)
  4. Cardamom powder ... a pinch
  5. (For Pooris)
  6. wheat flour ... 1 cup
  7. Salt ... to taste
  8. Oil ... to fry

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut the mango into pieces. Blend to make the puree.
  2. Add milk if you like. Some people also like to add a little rose syrup.
  3. Sprinkle cardamom powder on top or while grinding.
  4. Knead the dough for pooris adding 1 tsp oil and salt.
  5. Roll out small pooris and fry them.
