Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients to make Fettuccine Alfredo

  • 500g Fettuccine Pasta
  • 180g Unsalted Butter
  • 2 1/2 cups heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 cups Parmesan Cheese grated
  • A pinch of Nutmeg
  • Salt and Ground Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

How to make Fettuccine Alfredo

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water with 2 tbsp of olive oil until tender. Drain and keep aside.
  2. In a large skillet, add 2 cups of cream and lemon juice, mix well to blend. Remove from the heat.
  3. Add the butter in another pan and cook over medium heat until the butter melts, Stir for 2-3 mins.
  4. Add the pasta and toss well.
  5. Add the remaining cream in the skillet and then add parmesan to the cream sauce
  6. Add the nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  7. Toss the pasta over low heat until the sauce thickens , for about a minute.
  8. Serve hot with garlic bread.
