ABOUT Potato Roses... RECIPE

Potato snack that is lovely to look at and damn crunchy to the last bite. Yummy and easily made. It can be a super awesome snack idea at tea-time or a quick brunchie too with your favourite soup.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Potatoes thinly sliced 3
  2. Salt 1 tsp
  3. Chaat masala 1 tsp
  4. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  5. Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the potatoes very thinly with a slicer.
  2. Rinse them in water once or twice
  3. Pat dry and arrange about 10-12 slices in a line overlapping each other.
  4. Now starting from one end, start folding it until the last slice.
  5. Secure each with the help of a toothpick either one or two.
  6. Similarly make all roses in the same way.
  7. Deep fry them in hot oil on a medium flame.
  8. Drain them on a kitchen towel or a napkin.
  9. Sprinkle the spices according to taste.
  10. Squeeze some lemon juice.
  11. Serve hot with ketchup or any sauce of choice.
