No Bake Date and Fig Bars in English Raihana's Cuisines

These bars are super nutritious and they are no bake and very easy to make, it's a super energizer bar for that afternoon picker upper! The recipe is by my sister Pervin Rashid.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates
  • 1 cup figs
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)

Recipe Preparation

  1. Put the nuts in the food processor and grind the nuts a little then go ahead and add the figs and the dates, pulse it till all the ingredients comes together.
  2. In a small pyrex dish that has been oiled put in the mixture and compact it well. Then place it in the refrigerator for 30 mins.
  3. After this time, take it out and cut into bar shapes. Store them in an air-tight container and eat when desired. ( This recipe will make 24 small bars.)
My Tip: Make sure to toast the nuts and make sure they are fresh.
