No Bake Date and Fig Bars in English Raihana's Cuisines
- 1 cup dates
- 1 cup figs
- 1 cup mixed nuts
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- Put the nuts in the food processor and grind the nuts a little then go ahead and add the figs and the dates, pulse it till all the ingredients comes together.
- In a small pyrex dish that has been oiled put in the mixture and compact it well. Then place it in the refrigerator for 30 mins.
- After this time, take it out and cut into bar shapes. Store them in an air-tight container and eat when desired. ( This recipe will make 24 small bars.)
My Tip: Make sure to toast the nuts and make sure they are fresh.
