Ingredients to make Nutty Chocolaty Biscuity Custard

  • Choclate cake 1 small sized
  • Vanilla custard ( I made custard from 250 ml milk)
  • Chocolate biscuits, approximately 12- 15 pieces
  • Butter melted, around 3-4 spoons
  • Chocolate sauce, 3-4 spoons
  • Roasted dry fruits like kaju, badam and akhrot
  • Cherries & decorative silver balls to garnish

How to make Nutty Chocolaty Biscuity Custard

  1. To make the vanilla custard, boil the milk. Add in the vanilla custard powder and cook for a few minutes. Note to continuously stir it in between. Then turn off the flame and let it cool. (Follow the instructions mentioned on the pack of custard powder). Also crumble the chocolate cake. Keep aside.
  2. To make the base of the biscuits, take a bowl. Crumble a few chocolate biscuits and add few spoons of butter into it, then mix it nicely with the back of a spoon. Spread it as the base of the bowl. Set it in the freezer for about half an hour.
  3. After this time, take it out from the freezer and make a layer of the crumbled chocolate cake over it. Press firmly with a spoon. Again set it in the freezer for about 10 minutes. Remove the bowl and spread the chocolate sauce over it, make a layer of the roasted dry fruits over it.
  4. Now pour warm custard over it . Decorate with chocolate biscuits by making a circle. Press the biscuits gently to set. Throw in some cake decoration silver balls over the custard. Garnish with cherries. (Keep it in the fridge for the custard to set for atleast 2 hrs.)
  5. Serve chilled as it gives a very nice gooey and crunchy taste.
