Ingredients to make Onion Rings

  • 2 Onions, large
  • 2 1/2 All purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 11/2 cup Dry bread crumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt as need
  • Oil for frying
  • Baking powder 1 pinch (Optional)

How to make Onion Rings

  1. Heat oil enough for deep frying in a pan.
  2. Separate the onions into rings and keep aside.
  3. Mix the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Beat the eggs and milk in another bowl.
  4. Dip the onion rings into the flour mixture and coat well, then dip the rings into the egg-milk mixture. Place them on a rack to drain excess mixture.
  5. Spread the bread crumbs on a plate, coat the rings with the bread crumbs.
  6. Deep fry them for 2-3 mins until they become golden.
  7. Transfer the fried onion rings onto a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  8. Season with salt and serve with mayonaise.
