ABOUT Gobhi Poha RECIPE

Poha is the very popular tradditional breakfast. It can be prepared quickly. ..yummyyy to taste n healthy too. We add onoin ...peanuts...Green peas. ..Potato etc. Coriander n coconut will increase its nutrients value. Today I have added Cauliflower along with Onion n Green peas. It was awesome to taste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Thick Poha [flattened rice] 3 cups
  2. Chopped onion 1 cup
  3. Green peas 1/2 cup
  4. Chopped Cauliflower 1.5 cups
  5. Green chillies chopped 5
  6. Coriander chopped 1/2 cup
  7. Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  8. Sugar 2 tsp
  9. Salt 1.5 tsp
  10. Oil 1.5 tb sp
  11. Rai [mustard seeds] 1/2 tsp
  12. Jira [cumin seeds] 1/2 tsp
  13. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  14. Lemon Juice 3 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash Poha thoroughly in the colander. Keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in the pan.
  3. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. After it splutters ,add chopped green chillies.
  4. Saute..add chopped onions. Saute till soft.
  5. Add green peas & Cauliflower. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add salt. .sugar. .mix properly.
  7. Add Poha...mix thoroughly. ..cover with the lid.
  8. Cook on low flame for about 3 minutes.
  9. Saute again...add lemon juice and 1 tb sp water. Mix properly.
  10. Steam for 2 minutes.
  11. Done...garnish with coriander leaves and coconut.
  12. Ready to serve.
