ABOUT Jowar roti RECIPE

Sorghum/ jowar is one of the top 5 foods of the world. It is very healthy and people who are diabetic, prefer jowar roti as their lunch or dinner. It is naturally sweet and so we need not add salt .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Jowar flour-2 cups
  2. Hot water- 1.25 cups

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add jowar flour and hot water and mix well with a spatula.
  2. When warm, knead it with hands and make medium sizes balls.
  3. Switch on the roti maker and place jowar ball and close the lid and press hard. Open the lid only after 3 min.
  4. Turn to the other side and let it cook for 2 min.
  5. Serve hot with curry.
