Paneer Keema

Ingredients to make Paneer Keema

  • 250 gms paneer (mashed)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 6 medium onions
  • 2 green chilli
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup amul fresh cream
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dhania powder
  • Butter as required
  • Salt as per taste

How to make Paneer Keema

  1. Soak the red chillies in water for 30 minutes and then make a fine paste of it.
  2. Grind green chilli, tomatoes and onions in a mixi and make a puree.
  3. Heat butter in a pan and add the red chilli paste and cinnamon stick. Saute for a minute.
  4. Add tomato-onion-chilli puree to it.
  5. After sauting for 2 minutes, add the ginger-garlic paste. Saute till it gets well cooked.
  6. Add dhania powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and mix well.
  7. Add cream and mix, lastly add the paneer and sprinkle salt.
  8. Cook it for a while and add water if required. Serve hot.
My Tip: A pinch of black pepper can be added to enhance the taste.
