Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. For Pink Strawberry Yogurt Cake :
  2. 1+1/2 cups All purpose flour
  3. 1+1/2 cups Cornflour
  4. 1 cup Yogurt
  5. 2 tbsp Strawberry crush
  6. A pinch Pink food colour
  7. 1 cup Oil
  8. 2 cups Sugar
  9. 1 tsp Baking powder
  10. 2 Eggs
  11. For Mocha Cake:
  12. 2 cups All purpose flour
  13. 1 cup sugar
  14. 200grms Chocolate bar
  15. 1 cup Freshly brewed hot coffee
  16. 3 Eggs
  17. 1 cup Buttermilk
  18. 1 tsp Baking powder
  19. 1 cup Oil

Instructions

  1. Sift the flours with baking powder,food colour and keep aside. Preheat the oven to 350F..Beat the eggs with sugar until they turns soft and fluffy, add the yogurt, oil,strawberry crush and beat well.
  2. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients,dont over mix and mix gently with a wooden spatula until everything get well mixed. Pour the cake batter in a greased loaf mould lined with a baking sheet.
  3. I used silicon cake mould for making out this cake. Bake the cake in the middle rack of the oven for 20-25 minutes, until a skewer inserted come out clean.
  4. Remove the cake and let it cook completely in a wire rack; Slice the cake as medium sized thick slices, with a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut the cake as heart. Remove the heart carefully, arrange over a wire rack and keep aside.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350F.. Beat the eggs and sugar together until they turns pale.
  6. Meanwhile sieve the all purpose flour, sugar,baking powder and keep aside. Add the buttermilk, oil to the egg-sugar mixture, beat well.
  7. Add the chocolate chunks to the freshly brewed hot coffee, mix until the chocolate get well mixed.
  8. Gradually add the chocolate-coffee mixture again to the egg-sugar mixture,whisk everything. Finally add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mix gently with a spatula well.
  9. Grease a bundt cake mould generously.
  10. Spoon half of the batter to the mould, arrange the already prepared rose hearts closely one by one without any gap in between.
  11. Pour slowly the remaining batter over the hearts and let them cover completely with the batter. Bake in middle rack for 30-35minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
  12. Let the cake cool completely in wire rack. Slice and enjoy.
