ABOUT DRY GARLIC CHUTNEY RECIPE

This is a very popular chutney of Maharashtra.. It is usually served with vada pav. It tastes good with puris and bhakri as well.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Garlic ...... 2 pods (crushed)
  2. Onion ....... 1 (grated) - optional
  3. Red chilli Powder ....2-3 tbsp.
  4. Dry coconut grated .... 1 tbsp
  5. Coriander powder ....1 tsp.
  6. Cumin powder ......... 1 tsp.
  7. Turmeric powder .... 1/2 tsp
  8. Salt ... to taste
  9. Oil ... 1-2 tbsp.

Instructions

  1. In a pan heat the oil and saute the onion till water dries, add garlic... stir fry and add all the other ingredients. The consistency has to be dry like crumbs.
