Crunchy bread dipped in delicious sugar syrup.

Bread Dumplings

Ingredients to make Bread Dumplings

  • Bread slices 4-5
  • sugar 2 cup
  • water 2 cup
  • lemon juice 1 tea spoon
  • cardamom powder as per taste
  • nutmeg powder as per taste
  • saffron
  • oil to deep fry

How to make Bread Dumplings

  1. Cut bread slices into 4 pieces .Keep aside.
  2. For making syrup: Mix water and sugar, cook on medium flame till the syrup gets thick.
  3. Let it cool and add cardamom powder,nutmeg powder,lemon juice and saffron. Mix well.
  4. Now, in a wok heat oil , deep fry the bread pieces. Keep on a paper napkin to soak the oil .
  5. Immerse bread pieces in the syrup and serve hot.

My Tip:

Best if the recipe is made in vegetable oil
