A delicious Pakistani dish.

Murg Choley

Ingredients to make Murg Choley

  • chicken - 1/2 kg washed & drained
  • chickpea - 250gm
  • red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
  • coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
  • Chopped onion - 1 medium
  • Chopped ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Green chilles chopped - 2
  • Chopped tomatoes - 1
  • oil for cooking - 2- 3 tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Murg Choley

  1. Boil chickpea in pressure cooker and keep aside
  2. Now take wok , heat oil saute ginger , onion and add ginger garlic paste , bhunoofy masala
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and spices leaving garam masala , cook masala with little water till oil separate's
  4. Now add chicken washed into masala and with little water cook chicken till it get's tender
  5. Now mix boiled chickpeas , little keep aside and grind it and mix in salan to make gravy thick
  6. Lastly add garam masala, again cook for 2 - 3 minutes till whole masala mixes well
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander & green chillies from top
  8. Enjoy with roti or hot rice
