ABOUT Mysore Masala Dosa RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For dosa batter
  2. 4cup rice
  3. 1cup urad dal
  4. 1/4 cup chana dal
  5. 1/4 cup poha
  6. 1tbs methi seeds
  7. For chutney
  8. 6-7 dry red chillies soaked in water
  9. 2tbs fried chana
  10. 5-6 garlic pods
  11. Small piece of ginger
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1/4 tbs cummin seeds
  14. Lemon juice
  15. For Aaloo Palya
  16. 2 Boiled potatoes
  17. 1 medium onion
  18. 2-3 green chillies
  19. 1/4 tsp urad dal, 1/4 tsp chana dal
  20. 1/4 mustard seeds
  21. 1/4 cummin
  22. Curry leaves, Coriander
  23. Salt to taste
  24. 2tbs oil
  25. 1/4 tbs turmeric pd

Instructions

  1. First soak the rice n other things for 7-8 hours.
  2. Grind into fine paste, add soda( optional) keep for fermentation
  3. In the morning add salt to the batter.
  4. For chutney
  5. Dry roast the chana dal, jeera
  6. In a jar add chana dal, jeera, red chillies, salt, ginger piece, garlic pods n lemon juice.
  7. Make fine paste.
  8. For Aaloo palya
  9. Take 2 boiled potato mash n keep aside.
  10. In a kadai add oil, chana dal, urad dal, cummin seeds, mustard seeds, let it crackle.
  11. Now add curry leaves
  12. Add onion n saute till it turn into pink colour.
  13. Add green chillies, salt ,turmeric n saute
  14. Now add boiled potato mix well
  15. Finally add coriander leaves
  16. Heat the Dosa tawa make Dosa by applying oil on dosanow spread chutney all over dosa
  17. In one corner put Aaloo palya, turn into half n serve.
