Bhindi/Ladies finger masala

Ingredients to make Bhindi/Ladies finger masala

  • Bhindi/ladies finger 250gm
  • Onion sliced 2
  • Tomato 1 big
  • Green chilly sliced open lenthwise 5
  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
  • Chilly powder 1 tbsp
  • Corriander powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Tomato sauce 1/2 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Corriander leaves to garnish
  • Oil 2 tbsp

How to make Bhindi/Ladies finger masala

  1. In a nonstick pan heat 2 tbsp oil.
  2. When it is hot add onions. Saute well until golden brown.
  3. Now add the tomato and ginger garlic paste and saute for 3 min.
  4. Add the ladies finger, green chilly and salt, mix well and cook in low flame covering with a lid. Stir occasionally
  5. When the ladies finger is cooked add chilly powder coriander powder turmeric powder, garam masala, sugar and the sauces. Mix well on low flame for 2 min.
  6. Remove from the flame and add chopped coriander leaves.
