ABOUT tomato onion poha RECIPE

Poha is one of the most promising dish you can ever get.Weather it is from MP or Maharashtra both variations are awsum.In this recipe i tried to combine both in one by adding masalas from both areas

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1tsp:musturd,cumin
  2. 1/2 tsp:ajwain,chilli powder,turmeric,sugar
  3. 2cups poha
  4. 1onion,1potato,2 chilli,3 tomato
  5. 1/2lemon
  6. pinch of amchoor
  7. salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. 1)Wash poha and allow it to absorb water for 10 min.
  2. 2)Meanwhile chop onion,tomto and chilli.Heat oil and give rai cumin tadka
  3. 3)As mustard splutter add onion and potato and fry till potato is soft.Add tomato and fry to soften
  4. Till the time onion and tomato are incorporated add sugar salt tur4)Till the time onion and tomato combine add salt sugar and curd to poha and leave it to become fluffy.
  5. 4)Add poha to the onion mixture and fry for 30 sec.cover and cook for a min
  6. 5)serve on a plate and sprinkle lemon water and serve
