ABOUT RICE CHICKEN LOAF RECIPE

There are many ways we use leftover rice, from making fried rice, kheer, pulao, tomato rice, cutlets, etc. But this one is a unique recipe which meat lovers will definitely live it. Baked recipe made from leftover rice.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 cups leftover rice
  2. 200 gms chicken finely mince d (you can run in mixer grinder for fine mince)
  3. 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  4. 5 cloves garlic, grated with a fine grater
  5. 2 inch ginger, grated with a fine grater
  6. 4 spring onions, finely chopped
  7. 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  8. Salt as per taste (keep in mind the saltiness of soy sauce before adding)
  9. For the glaze
  10. 5 teaspoon sugar
  11. 2 Tablespoon tomato sauce
  12. 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce
  13. 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. GREASE OVENPROOF PAN OF DESIRED SHAPE. PREHEAT OVEN AT 220℃ FOR 15 MINUTES
  2. IN A MIXING BOWL, TAKE CHICKEN MINCE. ADD GARLIC & SPRING ONION
  3. ADD GINGER
  4. Add sesame oil
  5. NEXT GOES THE EGGS
  6. FINALLY THE SOY SAUCE. WHISK THE MIXTURE WELL UNTIL ITS FLUFFY
  7. ADD THE LEFTOVER RICE
  8. SALT AS PER TASTE. COMBINE WELL
  9. OUR LOAF BATTER IS READY
  10. PUT THE RICE CHICKEN MIX INTO THE GREASED MOULDS. HAVE DIVIDED IN 2 MOULDS, BUT YOU CAN USE SINGLE BREAD MOULD ALSO.
  11. SPRINKLE SOME TOASTED SESAME SEEDS ON TOP.
  12. BAKE IN PREHEATED OVEN FOR 40 MINUTES AT 200℃. (TIME MAY VARY WITH DIFFERENT INSTRUMENTS)
  13. OUR LEFTOVER RICE MAKEOVER LOAF IS READY. LETS MAKE THE SAUCE/GLAZE FOR THIS.
  14. IN A SAUCE PAN, TAKE SUGAR. TO THIS ADD 1 TABLESPOON WATER
  15. NEXT ADD THE TOMATO SAUCE & RED CHILLI SAUCE
  16. FINALLY THE SOY SAUCE
  17. MIX WELL. COOK UNTIL THE SUGAR MELTS & THE SAUCE THICKENS A BIT
  18. POUR THE SAUCE OVER THE RICE CHICKEN LOAF SLICES AND ENJOY.
