ABOUT Stir fried mix dal paniyaram RECIPE

Paniyaram is very traditional brekfast from south india . There are many so many variety of paniyarams . I have made mix dal paniyaram .

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Split green moong dal 1 cup
  2. Half cup chana dal / Bengal horse
  3. 1 tsp ginger paste
  4. 1 tsp green chilli paste
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. 1 tbsp curd
  7. Fruit salt as required
  8. 1 small onion finely chopped
  9. 4-5 curry leaves
  10. Chat masala powder 2 tsp
  11. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  12. Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. First soak split green moong dal and chana dal together for about 3 hours . Wash and drain all the water .
  2. Now in a mixer grind both dals and make fine paste .
  3. Now in grinded dals add curd , ginger green chilli paste and salt as per taste. Mix all ingredients well .
  4. Now grease paniyaram pan with oil .
  5. Take some portion of batter and add 1 tsp fruit salt. Mix well. Pour this batter in paniyaram pan cover the lid
  6. After 5 minutes flip all paniyaram and cook from another sides . Repeat this process with remaining batter . Mix dal paniyaram is ready .
  7. Now in a pan take 2 tsp oil, add cumin seeds , when seeds starts crackle add curry leaves and finely chopped onion . Cook until onion becomes transculate . Now add chat masala and salt as per taste. Mix well
  8. Now add paniyaram into this, saute it well for about 2-3 minutes. Stir fry mix dal Paniyaram is ready to serve. Serve hot .
