Sugar Apple Cake

Ingredients to make Sugar Apple Cake

  • 1 and 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 large free range eggs
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup butter)
  • 3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 2 large ripe sugar apples

How to make Sugar Apple Cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease and line a one 8 inch round cake pan.
  2. Remove the pulp from the sugar apples. Then mash the pulp with your hands and remove the seeds.
  3. Whisk together first four listed ingredients. Also beat the egg whites till it's frothy.
  4. Beat the butter and sugar till its light and creamy. Then add in the yolks.
  5. Add the sugar apple pulp and vanilla essence. Then pour in the egg whites. Stir well to get a uniform mixture.
  6. Now add the flour mixture in three shifts. Every time you add flour, pour in warm milk as well. Stir till you get a lump free batter.
  7. Pour the batter in the prepared tin. Bake it for 35 to 40 minutes till the top turns brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Then remove it from the pan. Cool in the rack and slice next day.
  8. Serve it with a dollop of cream for best taste.
My Tip: Add very sugar custard apples to add a greater sweetness and flavour.

Hello freinds, here is a tip to remove seeds of custerd apple . Just put all pulp in food processor and all seeds will separate in one minute
