About Shahi Paneer Recipe

Have you ever tried making paneer curry with white gravy? This is a deliciously recipe, one of my first attempts. Hope you all like it.

Shahi Paneer

Ingredients to make Shahi Paneer

  • 1 cup paneer cubes
  • 5 large onions
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • 8-10 cashewnuts
  • 3 green chillies
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • oil for cooking
  • 1/2 inch cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 cup dahi
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp black pepper

How to make Shahi Paneer

  1. Grind the onions, cashewnuts, green chillies, ginger, garlic together in a mixer and make a fine paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add the cinnamon stick and red chillies after breaking them into 2 parts. After a minute add the paste and saute it for a while.
  3. Add the dahi, garam masala and black pepper. After cooking them for a while, add the paneer cubes.
  4. Add salt and cream. Mix it properly so that the paneer gets coated well with the gravy.
  5. Serve hot.
