Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Leftover bread slices 1 bowl or more
  2. Milk 1/3 cup
  3. Chopped onions 1/2 cup
  4. 2 eggs
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  7. Handful of coriander leaves chopped

Instructions

  1. CUT 1 BOWL LEFTOVER BREAD IN CUBES
  2. POUR 1/3 CUP MILK OVER IT
  3. MIX HALF CUP CHOPPED ONIONS, SALT TO TASTE, 1 TSP BLACK PEPPER POWDER, AND HANDFUL OF FRESH CORIANDER
  4. WHISK 2 EGGS AND ADD INTO BREAD MIXTURE
  5. MIX WITH LIGHT HANDS. COVER AND REST IT FOR 1 HOUR. IF REQUIRED ADD MORE CRUMBLED BREAD PIECES. IT SHOULD BE OF MEDIUM THICK CONSISTENCY TO ROLL LIKE GOLF SIZE BALLS.
  6. KEEP A POT OF WATER FOR BOILING. ADD BREAD BALLS ONE BY ONE AND LET IT BOIL ON MEDIUM HEAT FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES OR MORE. REMOVE FROM WATER AND KEEP ASIDE.
  7. POUR HOT SOUP OF YOUR CHOICE OR GRAVY IN A BOWL.
  8. TOAST 4 CHOPPED ALMONDS
  9. PLACE BREAD BALLS IN THE SOUP/GRAVY OF YOUR CHOICE. GARNISH IT WITH TOASTED ALMONDS AND FRESH CREAM AND FEW MINT LEAVES.
