Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bitter gourd- 6
  2. Minced chicken meat (Crushed Soyabeans is the option for Vegetarians)- 1 cup
  3. Onions- 2
  4. Garam Masala- 1 tsp
  5. Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  6. Ginger Garlic paste- 1 tsp
  7. Kishmish- a handful
  8. Salt- as required
  9. Tamarind pulp- 1 tsp
  10. Oil- as required

Instructions

  1. Give only one cut to karela, clean from inside remove the seeds, wash thoroughly, sprinkle salt and keep aside. Heat the pan add 2 table spoons of oil, add the onions saute till golden brown, add ginger garlic paste and the keema.
  2. Cook for 10-15 minutes add the kishmish, tamarind pulp and salt mix well and keep aside,Squeeze the karelas and wipe with a clean cloth from inside and outside. Stuff with the keema stuffing,
  3. Heat a pan add one teaspoon oil and shallow fry the karelas till they become tender and are cook nicely, Serve with Roti or fulkas.
