Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Maida 2 cup
  2. Semolina 1/2 cup
  3. Curd 2 tbsp
  4. Oil 2 tbsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Water as required
  7. For Stuffing-Urad dal flour 1 cup
  8. Garam masala 1 tsp
  9. Mango powder 1 tsp
  10. Hing 1tsp
  11. Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  12. Green chilli paste 1 tbsp
  13. White pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  16. Fennel powder 1 tsp
  17. Oil 1 tbsp
  18. Water as required
  19. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Place the maida,semolina,curd,oil and salt in a bowl.Mix it.
  2. Add enough water and knead into a dough .
  3. Cover with a damp cloth and rest it for 20 to 30 minutes.
  4. Bring a bowl,add urad dal flour,garam masala,mango powder,hing,ginger paste,green chilli paste,white pepper powder,salt,cumin powder,fennel powder and oil.Mix it well.
  5. Add enough water to make a dough.
  6. Add 1/2 tsp of oil and keep aside for 5 minutes.
  7. Heat oil in a kadai on medium flame.
  8. Bring maida dough , make small equal portions and roll into balls.
  9. Add the filling in each balls and shape into a ball again.
  10. Press the balls lightly on work surface and roll out into small kachori.
  11. Now gently deep-fry it and evenly fried on both sides on low flame.
  12. When it turn into light golden color,drain it on absorbent paper and serve hot with aloo sabji.
