Pav bhaji

Ingredients to make Pav bhaji

  • Cauliflower- 1/2head
  • Potatoes- 4
  • Green peas- 1/2 cup
  • Onions-2, chopped
  • Tomatoes- 4, chopped
  • Coriander leaves- a bunch
  • Capsicum- 1 chopped
  • Ginger- garlic paste- 1 tbsp
  • Butter and oil- 2 tbsp
  • Pav bhaji Masala (EVEREST brand recommended)- as required
  • Extra Butter as required
  • Chilli powder- as per taste

How to make Pav bhaji

  1. Pressure cook potato's, cauliflower and green peas for 4-5 whistles, Heat Pan add the butter+oil once its hot add the thinly sliced onions, ginger- garlic paste and capsicum and the thinly sliced tomatoes, mix well.
  2. Add 2 tsp pav bhaji masala, turmeric and chilli powder as per requirement cook till it gives masala aroma, add the boiled vegetables along with 1 cup of water and mash nicely with masher add the salt. Let cook for 7-8 minutes then add the butter.
  3. Garnish with coriander and serve with Pav, For Pav heat the butter in a pan add little pav bhaji masala and heat the pav on it and serve.
