ABOUT Veg Sandwich RECIPE

Veg sandwich is very tasty and healthy breakfast. Veg sandwich is basically a common sandwich recipe prepared all over India. I prepared this healthy veg sandwich recipe almost every week for breakfast. It is prepared with vegetables stuffings placed in between of two bread slices and grilled with butter.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 bread slices
  2. 2 tsp oil
  3. 1/2 onion chopped
  4. 1/2 cup corn frozen
  5. 1 carrot, finely cho
  6. 1/2 capcicum finely chopped
  7. 1 tsp crushed pepper
  8. 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  11. 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  12. 2 tbsp green chutney
  13. 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a pan heat oil and fry onions.
  2. Further add corns, carrot and capcicum. Fry for a minute till the veggies are half cooked yet crunchy.
  3. Now add chopped pepper, mixed herbs and salt. Give a good mix.
  4. Now take 2 breads and on one spread tomato sauce and green chutney on the other.
  5. Grate the cheese over the stuffing.
  6. Cover with the other slice of bread and grill or toast on tawa.
  7. Spread butter on both the outer sides of bread to make sandwich more crispy and golden.
  8. Now cut the bread into triangle.
  9. Serve hot or pack for kids lunch box.
