Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup oats
  2. Half cup Rice flour
  3. 5 tbsp Cooking Oil
  4. salt as per taste
  5. Half cup soaked chana dal
  6. 1 inch piece of ginger
  7. 8 green mirchi
  8. Chopped onion of 1 medoum size
  9. Mustard and cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
  10. Chopped coriander half cup
  11. Chopped spring onion 3tbsp

Instructions

  1. Make oats powder by grinding oats in a mixer jar and keep aside.
  2. Take soaked chana dal, ginger , green mirchi (4) , salt and grind them coarsely. Take water in a pan and bring it to boil.
  3. Add salt, oats powder , rice flour and mix well and let it cool down for 3mins. Make a soft dough of it by kneading for a few mins. Now make small balls of this dough and steam cook for 10 mins.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. Once mustard starts spluttering, add cumi seeds , onions and cook till they are well done.
  5. Add sliced mirchi , spring onion and fry for a min. Add coarsely done chana dal mixture , salt and cook till they are well done for 5mins.
  6. Now add steam cooked oats dumplings and cook for 5 mins in low flame. Add coriander and serve it hot..
