ABOUT ALOO KACHORI RECIPE

Make these aloo kachoris for breakfast.They are good to pack in the lunch box too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. (For the dough:)
  2. Maida ..... 1 cup
  3. Oil ......... 2-3 tbsps
  4. Salt ....... to taste
  5. (For the filling:)
  6. Potatoes .... 2
  7. Turmeric powder .. 1/4 tsp
  8. Garam Masala ...... 1/4 tsp
  9. Crushed cumin seeds .. 1/4 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder ....... 1/2 tsp
  11. Amchoor powder .... 1/4 tsp
  12. Coriander leaves ....... handful
  13. Salt .... to taste
  14. Oil ..... for frying.

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients mentioned in list 1 and knead into a soft dough adding water. Set aside.
  2. .Boil the potatoes, peel them and cut into small pieces. In a pan heat a little oil and add the potatoes and spice powders..Add salt and coriander leaves and mix well mashing with the spoon.Let it cool.
  3. Now roll out a small quantity of dough and stuff it with the aloo filling.
  4. Seal the edges into a bundle.
  5. Roll it lightly.
  6. Deep fry the kachories until crisp.
